My Story

Beginning as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2000, I learned that meaningful support starts with presence. Through touch, I found I could offer a quiet ground where your nervous system feels safe enough to rest and let down.

Wanting to support the whole person beyond physical relief, I expanded my background to bridge mind and body. Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and graduate of Kathy Kain’s Touch Skills for Trauma Therapists and Stephen Terrell’s Transforming Touch® (TEB)—I understand how all channels of experience are rooted in physiology.

Real integration doesn't require overwhelming shifts. By bringing more grounding into my own life, I see how small, titrated steps ripple outward. We don't need big shifts that are hard to digest; we need small, manageable moments. From there, natural settling happens, allowing your system to restore balance from the inside out.

When we meet our physiology with understanding rather than demand, the body naturally finds its way back toward balance.

My Approach

Utilizing a body-oriented approach through Somatic Experiencing and clinical touch work allows for a gentle, bottom-up process. My practice is grounded in acceptance, non-judgment, and supportive presence. I believe that in safety, we ground ourselves and rest—allowing the nervous system to ease its allostatic load and repattern away from chronic stress.

My work focuses first on reinforcing existing regulation. Once a stable baseline is established, we support attachment regulation and early developmental patterns through mindfulness, allowing, and co-regulatory touch. Rather than placing more demands on you to change, this approach offers your body the support and space to simply be as it is.

I believe we naturally orient toward balance when given the right conditions—much like a broken bone held in alignment so the body can care for itself. My role is simply to offer a steady space of safety, acceptance, and co-regulation.
